Welcome and thank you for your interest in being a host organization for the Youth Eco Internship Program. Please review and complete the following application form carefully. Also, please note that in addition to your 'Host Application', you will need to complete a separate 'Position Description' for each internship placement that your organization is applying for. 1. Your organization has general liability insurance for the Intern for a minimum of $2 million.

8. The presence of the Internship Participant on the Host Organization’s premises does not displace or replace any employee of the Host Organization, including any employee who is on lay-off, or waiting notice of recall, or absent as a result of a labor stoppage or dispute.

9. Your Organization agrees the YMCA will be considered the employer and the YMCA will pay wages to the Intern for the duration of the placement, remit all appropriate statutory deductions along with maintaining payroll records and provide workplace insurance coverage.
